Vision Support are RSBC Capacity Building Trainers
RSBC (Royal Society for Blind Children) https://www.rsbc.org.uk/ is pleased to share that Vision Support is an Organisation that can now share our Capacity Building Training. The training is focused on increasing knowledge and confidence to include blind and partially sighted children and young people in your setting. The free training is meant for organisations like local youth clubs, activity providers, sports clubs, or any other activity that welcomes children and young people to your provision.
You’ll learn about common eye conditions, their impact on the individual, and explore the myths around sight loss. You’ll gain essential guidance on making your clubs, activities, and sessions Vision Impaired friendly. There will be an opportunity to gain a practical understanding of adapting virtual and physical activities to make them inclusive to children and young people with sight loss.
