Time for another Tech Talk, Our Digital Skills Officer Kate has some information on screen mirroring,

Are you struggling to see the photographs in your device’s gallery? Maybe you often join Zoom meetings and wish the video component of the conversation was easier to see. Did you know that if you have a smart TV, you can link your television to your smartphone or tablet. Depending on what kind of device you have, this is called “casting” or “screen mirroring.”

If you have an Android device, such as a Samsung, you will most likely use something called “Chrome casting” to connect your device to your TV. On an Apple device, meanwhile, you would use “Screen Mirroring,” which can be found in the Control Centre and is very easy to activate. This is much quicker and easier than it sounds, and takes only a few seconds to connect once the initial setup has been completed. If you would like further information on this, please do not hesitate to contact our Digital Skills team.
