Did you know that if you have access to a smartphone (i.e. Samsung or iPhone) or a tablet, there are lots of resources and tools you can use to help boost your wellbeing at home?

In this section, you will find information on a variety of apps you can use day-to-day to make your life just a little bit easier. From mindfulness and wellbeing to leisure and entertainment, this section is all about ways to lift your mood using technology.

But first off… What is an app?

Think of your phone or tablet as a toolkit, full of lots of different tools you can use. Some of these tools, like the ability to make phone calls or set reminders, might already be set up on your device when you purchase it. Other tools need to be added to your toolkit as you go.

These tools are called apps, and you can find them in the “App Store” or “Play Store” depending on what kind of device you have. Many of these tools (apps) are completely free to put onto your device (download). In the section below, we’ve made sure to point out when an app is not free, but you can use many of the tools below at no cost.
