Diabetic Retinopathy

This refers to the blood vessels that supply the retina to become blocked, leak or grow incorrectly. The type of Diabetic Retinopathy you have is determined by the extent to which the blood vessels are affected.

Symptoms of Diabetic Retinopathy include:

  • Patchy vision

  • Colours appearing duller

  • Distorted vision
