Cataracts occur when the lens in our eye becomes clouded over time. If left untreated Cataracts can become very dense leading to significantly reduced vision.

Symptoms of Cataracts include:

  • Increased sensitivity to light

  • Reduced detail

  • Vision is misty/foggy

  • Colours appearing duller

In many cases Cataracts can be treated by an operation to remove the clouded lens and replaced with an artificial lense.
