Campaigning Groups in Cheshire and North Wales

Vision Supports Campaigning Groups seek to enhance, promote, influence and develop services and working practices to meet the expressed needs of people who are blind and partially sighted across North Wales and Cheshire.

We are passionate about ensuring that vision impairment remains on the agenda and that barriers and issues are raised.

We have many ways you can get involved in raising the awareness of vision impairment. If you are interested please get in touch on 01244 381515 or email ngreer@visionsupport.org.uk

Each Group is formerly constituted with a Chair and Vice Chair and supported by staff from Vision Support. Groups meet every two months and follow an agreed Agenda. Minutes are produced and distributed to Members.

Cheshire Campaigning Groups

Chester VI Voices

Meets at Vision Supports Head Office, Units 1 & 2 The Ropeworks, Whipcord Lane, Chester, Cheshire, CH1 4DZ.

Macclesfield and District

Meets the first Wednesday of the month between 1:00pm and 3:00pm
at the East Cheshire Eye Society, 15 Queen Victoria Street, Macclesfield, SK11 6LP

North Wales Campaigning Groups

If you would like to have a say in the services you receive and what is happening in your local area, join one of our ‘VI Voices’ groups which give a voice to people with a vision impairment.
