Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, Gwynt Y Mor and Rhyl Flats community funds, Vision Support has been able to extend its Community Information Service to five days a week in North Wales in our brand new exhibition vehicle.
We know how difficult it can be to visit us, so we are bringing services to people who are blind or partially sighted to local towns and villages. Please be assured we are strictly following COVID-19 guidance to keep our visitors safe. The service carries the latest technology to improve daily life, including talking microwaves and is packed with the latest aids, equipment and specialist advice for people with sight loss.
Staffed by our friendly and knowledgeable team, the mobile carries the latest technology and gadgets to improve daily life.
We are extremely grateful to the support we have received from the National Lottery Community Fund and our other funders. Whether you are vision impaired or know somebody who may be having problems with their sight, please pay us a visit and pick up information or ask us questions. Everybody is welcome to come along to visit us on the mobile unit. Visitors can try out a wide range of daily living aids or the latest computer and magnification technology.
Vision Support also runs a Community Information Service in Chester and Cheshire West. Please follow the link below to find out when the Community Information Service is in your area, and we look forward to your visit.
